I am incredibly excited to share with you that Helping Hans Event Planning is now Thérèse Nicole Event Planning and Design (Pronounced Ta - Rez!). Three years ago, I set out to create fun and unique weddings, and tailor-made special events and thus, incepted Helping Hans Event Planning. HHEP was originally named after my mother, whose nickname is Helping Hans: “Hans,” is short for her middle name (Hansford) and “Helping” refers to her reputation for serving those around her. True to the brand, she is also crafty, incredibly creative and detail-oriented. She named me, Therese Nicole Clarke, after her late mother, Theresa. I never knew my maternal grandmother; she transitioned at the tender age of 26 during childbirth. However, born from that tragedy was strength and resilience. Thérèse Nicole captures the essence of my rich history and namesake, while still embodying and treasuring the values that you know Helping Hans for: exceptional service, innovative ideas and close attention to detail! We enjoy taking the burden off of our customers, all while doing what we love! Moving into this new season, I am reminded that the meaning of Therese is “harvest” and Nicole, “victory of the people!” Helping Hans has sown seeds of beauty and service for family, friends and clients alike; we would like to do so in an even greater way under this new brand, Thérèse Nicole. In that spirit, we are also happy to announce that Helping Hans will continue to live on through our philanthropic subdivision, The Helping Hans Project (THHP). The Project’s vision is to curate opulent celebrations for those who may otherwise lack the resources needed for such an experience. We will celebrate individuals who make extraordinary contributions to human welfare and social reform. THHP also honors marginalized groups who deserve to be celebrated in a major way!
