Privacy policy
This policy explains what Thérèse Nicole, LLC collects when you use this website, why, and who else sees it. Last updated 22 September 2026.
Who we are
Thérèse Nicole, LLC is a boutique wedding and event planning and design company serving the New York and Washington, DC metropolitan areas. If you have any question about this policy, or about information we hold about you, write to info@theresenicole.com.
Postal address: to be supplied.
What we collect, and when
We only collect what you type in yourself. There are two places where that happens.
- The enquiry form. When you get in touch about an event, the details you enter go to HoneyBook, the booking and client management system we use to run enquiries. That is where we read and reply to them.
- The newsletter. If you subscribe, we pass your name and email address to Brevo, which stores the mailing list and sends the emails. You can leave at any time using the unsubscribe link at the bottom of every email, and we would rather you did that than mark it as spam.
We do not run advertising pixels, analytics, session recording or any other tracking of our own on this site, and we do not sell or rent anyone's details.
Who else sees your information
We use a small number of outside companies to run the site. They only handle your information in order to provide their service to us.
- HoneyBook — enquiries, bookings and client communication. Its form is embedded on our contact page, which means HoneyBook may set its own cookies in your browser when that page loads.
- Brevo — the mailing list and the emails sent from it.
- Hostinger — hosting. Its servers keep standard access logs.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies of its own for visitors. The HoneyBook form described above may set its own. The administration area uses a session cookie, but only for the site owner signing in to write blog posts; it is never set for ordinary visitors.
Security
Sign-ins to the administration area are rate limited. To do that we store a shortened, one-way scrambled version of the connecting IP address, which cannot be turned back into the original. Full IP addresses are not stored by us.
How long we keep things
Enquiries are kept in HoneyBook for as long as we may need them to work with you or to keep proper business records. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove you.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to info@theresenicole.com and we will respond. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA, and we will honour those.
Children
This site is intended for adults arranging events. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will appear on this page with a new date at the top.
