Hey you guys!
I had so much fun designing Sharifa’s 30th Birthday Celebration, held at Brooklyn Fete (Knickerbocker location) in Brooklyn, NY. It was a decent sized event with roughly 75 attendants, including many of Sharifa’s nursing colleagues, friends and family members!
All of the attendees showed up ready to mix, mingle and of course, party! There was an exquisite spread of delicious Jamaican food, signature drinks flowing from the bar and a live DJ spinning the latest tunes.
The venue looked amazing. Set up was smooth and efficient; all vendors arrived on time and were ready to fulfill his/her role in executing Sharifa’s vision. We worked as a team to get the drapes, balloons, florals, cake and rentals perfectly arranged.
There was a palpable sense of adoration when Sharifa made her grand entrance. It was obvious that she is truly loved and supported by the people in the room. Sharifa enjoyed chatting, eating and dancing with her guests throughout the night. She also used this event as a platform to announce her commitment to a year of service projects. Sharifa’s pledge to embark on this philanthropic endeavor made this event all the more meaningful! I was glad to have been there for all the excitement and happy to share some of that excitement with you here. Hope you enjoy the pictures and video!
